December 2001: Pen and Colored Pencils.

Caption: “Handprints Headquarters!”

Explanation: Ivy and her new “Handprints” members initiate their new headquarters by marking the door with painted handprints. Max, Nicholas, Nina, and Bailey join Ivy to found the first and only support group for people with unusual abilities trying to feel at ease in society.

IVY TRIVIA: Maybe this isn’t the best place to tell blonde jokes. Before his hair went white, Nicholas had blonde hair, as do Ivy, Bailey, and Max. In a book yet to be written at this point (THTIB 5), two more members are slated to join, both of whom are blonde. Perhaps Nina should dye her hair to keep up with the growing trend and to achieve a uniform look.
