Explanation: Here, she gets together with the man who made the “house that Ivy built” possible; he made the plans for it and helped her build it. On their first meeting, they share fast food, and Ivy gets her first real face-to-face exposure to a human. –THTIB #1

IVY TRIVIA: When Ivy and Robert first met, Ivy had little knowledge about the standards of human appearances (i.e., she didn’t know they generally have five fingers, et cetera). She found Robert’s bald head and glasses very odd, while she hardly noticed how he differed from her in other ways. It took her a long time to figure out which variations were “normal” and which were not.
