Explanation: Max tries to explain skee-ball to Ivy. He claims that he is so good at it because he’s been playing since grade school. Ivy believes there is another explanation . . . and she’s right.

IVY TRIVIA: Unlike Ivy, Max only began to manifest his unusual talent near the end of his trip through puberty, almost as if the hormone changes of the period triggered its onset. Ivy seems to be the opposite: Now at age eighteen and still without even the beginnings of mature physiology, it seems whatever gave her her talent is also blocking her other hormones. What a trade-off.
